The Fee Insurance Group of Pittsburg has deep roots in our community and surrounding areas…so deep they reach back to 1969. Over the years the agency has developed into a full-service company offering a broad range of coverage to protect your family, your business, your farm and much more.

Our story begins with Ray Ryan who founded the Ryan Insurance Agency in 1969. The company merged with another agency in 1974 to become Angwin Ryan Stanley. Ray became sole owner in 1984 when the other two owners retired. The company continued to grow.

“I attribute our success to our very loyal customers who continue to trust us with their insurance needs, and a dedicated group of employees who continue to provide excellent service,” says Ray. “We have been able to form relationships with our customers that continue year after year.”

In October, 2007 the agency joined Fee Insurance Group, headquartered in Hutchinson. Ray Ryan agreed to continue at the agency, but for long-term continuity named Doug McCurley as manager.

“We share a belief in the independent agency system as the best way to provide for customers’ needs,” says Ryan of the two agencies. “The Fee agency’s resources enable us to serve our customers even better.”

The Fee Insurance Group in Hutchinson is a third-generation, family-owned business that dates back to 1883. Other branch offices are located in McPherson and Salina.
