A lifelong Hutchinson
resident, Allen is a graduate of the University
of Kansas and the U.S. Fire and Guaranty School
of Insurance. He has earned the Chartered Property
and Casualty Underwriter designation, and was named
Young Insurance Agent of the Year for Kansas in
1989. Dedicated to community service, Allen currently
is serving on the boards of the Davis Foundation
and the Justice Foundation.
He has served as chairman of numerous other community
organizations, such as the Chamber of Commerce,
Rotary, United Way, Kansas Cosmosphere and Space
Center, Prairie Dunes Country Club and others.
He has participated in both Leadership Hutchinson
and Leadership Kansas programs. In his spare time,
Allen enjoys golf, martial arts and coaching youth
sports. He and his wife, Kriss, have four children,
Jordan, Tyler, Melissa and Colton.

Raised in Hutchinson,
Bob has completed the Accredited Advisor in Insurance
course. A graduate of the University of Kansas and
the U.S. Fire and Guaranty School of Insurance,
he currently is serving on the board of directors
for the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents.
Bob has served as board chairman for such organizations
as the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Red Cross,
YMCA, Hutchinson Town Club and more. He currently
is on the board for Health Care, Inc., Charles Carey
Foundation, Delos Smith Foundation and others. Bob
enjoys participating in his children's activities,
triathalons and golf. He and his wife, Annie, have
four children, Robby, Kathleen, Madelyn and Emily.

Brad
Rayl, Treasurer

A graduate of the
U.S. Fire and Guaranty School of Insurance, Brad
earned the designation of Accredited Adviser in
Insurance in 1992. He was designated an Associate
in Risk Management in 1995 and completed Cincinnati
Insurance Companies' Commercial Lines School the
following year. A graduate of Hutchinson Community
College and Kansas State University, Brad is a lifelong
Hutchinson resident.
Brad has served as chairman of the Kansas State Fair
Board and Reno County Extension Board, and as President
of the Kansas Extension Board. He is an advisor/director
of Central Bank & Trust, a board member for the
Quest Center, and is active in the Hutchinson/Reno
County Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership
Hutchinson. He and his wife, Lori Lynn, have two children,
Abby and Parker.

She is in the Quality Assurance Unit for the commercial insurance accounts. Jolie received her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2004. She and her husband, Travis, enjoy watching KU basketball and spending time with their families.

A graduate of the University of Kansas, he spent 19 years as a coach, including head coaching stints at Dodge City Community College, Fort Hays State University and Hutchinson Community College. He and his wife, Amy Jo, have two children, Turner and Josie. He enjoys golf, hunting, cooking and coaching youth sports.

A native of Lebanon, Kansas, Janice graduated from Colby Community College in veterinary technology. She worked for Farmers Alliance Mutual Insurance Company for more than nine years before joining the Fee agency in September, 2007. She has received her agent's license in Property/Casualty. She raises mules with her husband, Matt, and children, Jacob, Morgan, Danielle and Connor. In her spare time she enjoys her horse, trail riding, cross-stitching and movies.

Colette joined Fee Insurance Group 18 years ago as an Administrative Assistant. A native of Hutchinson, she has a son, Christopher, and two granddaughters, Amaleigh and Joleigh. Colette is on the Board of Directors of the Hutchinson Zoo. She has been a volunteer for Reins of Hope for five years. She also enjoys riding horses, four-wheelers, hiking and gardening.

A Hutchinson resident since 1985, Teresa is a Cranford College graduate in management accounting. Joining the Fee Insurance Group in 2004, Teresa is a licensed property and casualty agent and is the team leader for personal lines as well as responsibilities in the accounting department.
Teresa and her husband, Trex, owner of Trex Lusk Sales, an industrial machinery sales company, have two grown sons. Teresa and Trex describe themselves as "golf fanatics."

Coleman, Consultant

A retired Vice President
of Fee Insurance Group, Jack maintains an office
and serves as a consultant to the agency. A native
of Boston, Jack joined the McNaghten Insurance Company
in 1954, then purchased the agency in 1964. When
McNaghten merged with Fee Insurance in 1991, Jack
became Vice President. He retired in 1993. He continues
to keep the office updated on KU football and basketball.

Born and raised on a farm in Illinois, Cyndy joined Fee Insurance Group in May 2008 as a claims representative and administrative assistant. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Jim, have lived in several different states having made Kansas their home since 2002. They have two sons, AJ and Joel. Cyndy enjoys walking their dog, sewing, quilting, knitting and reading.

Pittsburg Office
Ray Ryan, Branch President

A lifelong resident of Pittsburg, Ray returned from three years in the Marine Corps to attend Pittsburg State University. He started his career in insurance working for General Adjustment Bureau on April 1, 1969. He then started his own agency in 1969 and merged with Angwin Stanley in 1974. Ray became a member of the Kansas Independent Agents Association in 1976, served on several committees and was president in 1981-82. He followed Jim Fee as State National Director for Kansas and served two three-year terms. He is presently on the M&I Bank Board and is chairman of the St. Mary’s Colgan finance committee. He and his wife, Zoe, have four grown children.
Ray contributes his insurance success to the employees who have worked in his agency and served the many fine customers of southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri.
"They have always been willing to do the job and go the extra mile to make sure the customers’ needs are being met,” he says.

Doug McCurley, Agency Manager / Commercial Sales Executive

Born and raised in Fort Scott, Doug graduated from Baker University with a degree in Pre-Law and Political Science. He began his insurance career as a Special Agent for the Western Casualty and Indemnity Company in Denver, Colorado. Doug has earned designations of Associate in Risk Management and Certified Insurance Counselor. He has served as a board member for a privately held commercial company. Doug is active in Rotary and other civic organizations as well as a volunteer for Upward Basketball, a youth outreach program. Doug and his wife, Kathy, have four daughters, Alissa, Vanessa, Lindsay and Krista.

Al, a lifelong resident of southeast Kansas, was born and raised in Fort Scott. A graduate of Pittsburg State University, Al has been a resident of this area since he joined the agency in 1976. Over the past 31 years, he has served as an officer and on boards for numerous civic and church organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Frontenac Rotary, Catholic Credit Union, Knights of Columbus, the United Way and school committees. Al and his wife, Linda, have four grown children, Matthew, Steven, Angela and Theresa. In his spare time, he enjoys bowling, golf, coaching Little League sports, traveling and spending time with his seven grandchildren.

Brenda joined our agency in 2004, and earned her property/casualty license in 2006. She has had experience working with Direct Bill Reconciliation and is now the client service representative for personal lines. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school, scrapbooking, quilting and distributing books in the community through Bookcrossing.com. Brenda and daughter Emily also like to search for historical markers for Markeroni, an online network in which travelers journal their visits to historical sites.

Pam, who started her career with the Pittsburg agency, has more than 25 years of insurance experience. She has worked in personal lines, claims, bonds and the last 15 years in commercial lines. She and her husband, Matt, live in Frontenac and have two children, Jarrod, an Emporia State University student, and Katie, studying at Pittsburg State University. Pam has been varsity cheer and Pep Club sponsor for the Frontenac High School, and has taught religion and been youth director for her church. She also has served as a scout leader and is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Sacred Heart Altar Society.

agency. Specializing in business insurance, she

Property & Casualty Underwriter program.
She has served on the boards of the YMCA, United
Way and Leadership McPherson, of which she is
a graduate. She is a member of the Chamber of
Commerce Tartan Key Club and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
She enjoys golf, antiquing and high school sports.

Jim
Fee...In Remembrance

The
contributions of the late Jim Fee to the Fee Insurance
Group can never be underestimated. Jim began his
long career in insurance when he joined Fee Insurance
Group in 1956. Jim, his brother, Franklin, and father,
Frank T., worked together to build the business.
In 1976, Jim bought out his brother and became the
sole owner. Jim served as president of the agency
from 1969 until he became Chairman of the Board
in 1997. He retired in 2000, but continued to serve
as a consultant to the agency until his death in
August 2003. His sons, Allen and Bob, and the entire
staff of Fee Insurance Group carry on his legacy
of excellence and superior service.
